MAP President & CEO on "Media Minutes"

Posted: Friday May 2, 2008

Free Press features MAP President and CEO, Andrew Jay Schwartzman, in their weekly “Media Minutes” program.

Stevie Converse, Producer of the series, writes: “At a House hearing on the 700 MHz auction, several members of the Commerce Committee voiced their concern about the failed effort to produce a public safety network. And the Senate Commerce Committee passed a legislative veto of the FCC’s new media ownership rules as Rupert Murdoch prepared to bid for a third New York newspaper. Andrew Jay Schwartzman of Media Access Project discusses the resolution of disapproval and a possible dilemma for Murdoch.”
