MAP “Innovation ‘08” - A Groundbreaking Public Policy Initiative

Posted: Friday April 25, 2008

Media Access Project (MAP) announces “Innovation ‘08” – a groundbreaking series of conferences that will bring together public policy experts and tech industry leaders to draft policy recommendations for the next President of the United States.

The 2008 presidential election presents an opportunity for the public, industry and policy makers to reflect on the important unresolved media, technology and telecommunications issues that will have a substantial impact on the future of innovation in America. MAP Innovation ’08 will provide Silicon Valley with a unique way to capitalize on these special circumstances through direct participation in three public policy fora. The first two events will take place in Silicon Valley where MAP will bring together policy experts and industry leaders to discuss critical innovation issues. The final forum will be held in Washington, DC where MAP and the public will discuss the Silicon Valley events with the Presidential contenders (or their representatives). We will also have an opportunity to hear their vision for the future of Innovation in America.

Detailed agendas for each Forum will be available on the MAP website.
