MAP Senior Vice President Harold Feld participated in a live blog session on Open Left.com regarding public airwaves and communications infrastructure. Harold Feld, MAP’s Senior Vice President, will be a panelist at the FTC’s upcoming Broadband Connectivity Competition Policy conference. The conference will bring together experts from business, government, and the technology sector, consumer advocates, and academics to explore competition and consumer protection issues relating to broadband Internet access, including debate on “network neutrality.”

The “International Federation of Journalists”:http://www.ifj.org/ hosted a panel discussion in Brussels featuring MAP President and CEO, Andrew Jay Schwartzman, as the keynote speaker. The panel of media watchdog groups debated the impact of globalization and ownership regulation on media quality, freedom of expression and workers rights around the world.
