Privacy Policy
The Media Access Project offers email newsletters and updates for those interested in what’s new on our site, for members of the press and for those interested in low power radio. We ask for email addresses so that we can send these to readers, but we do not sell, rent or share our mailing lists. We also intend to challenge any subpoena or other legal process seeking access to our mailing list. We do not require your actual name, nor do we enhance our mailing lists by linking them to other databases. We will use this list for our annual contribution drive.
Should you wish to update or delete an email address in our possession at any time for any reason, please contact info@mediaaccess.org to make those changes.
Otherwise, Media Access Project does not collect personal information from visitors to our site. MAP does analyze server logs to measure the total number of “hits” the site receives and other gross traffic data (e.g., time of hits, but not identity of visitor).
MAP does not intend to change this policy, but it reserves the right to change it at any time. Changes will not go into effect until the posted privacy policy is modified.
