On July 17, Media Access Project (MAP) will hold its second forum of the 2009 public policy series, MAPPING CHANGE – Future of Access and Innovation. The event will focus on the specifics of this year’s economic stimulus package as it relates to broadband development in the United States, and on the Congressional mandate to develop a national broadband plan.

Speakers will include *Thomas Kalil* of the *White House Office of Science and Technology* and a panel of state-level organizations, private sector representatives, and other experts in the field. Participants will discuss elements of the broadband plan and stimulus, and the potential of these efforts for job creation and widespread broadband deployment and adoption.

The entire MAPPING CHANGE program is free of charge and open to the public.
