MAP has announced two important changes to its staff.

Parul P. Desai has been named Vice President of MAP. Ms. Desai’s expert legal and policy analysis has been instrumental to MAP’s work in numerous broadcast, cable, and satellite related issues. “Parul is a tireless advocate of public interest values,” said MAP President Andrew Jay Schwartzman. “Her sound judgment and legal mastery continue to gain the respect of the community.”

MAP also welcomed Kamilla Kovacs to its staff as Development and Communications Manager. Ms. Kovacs’s background in telecom policy on the Hill, in advocacy, and with the Obama transition provides her thorough knowledge of communications and technology policy issues. “Kamilla’s diverse experiences will be an invaluable asset to MAP’s development efforts as it moves forward with its reorganization process,” Schwartzman said.
